Personal Space was a project Stephen McCoy worked on for several years in the early 1980's. Informed by family snap-shots it was intended to be a humorous look at the activities that take place in domestic places familiar to the photographer. In these spaces the subjects felt secure and, because of their relationship to the photographer, were able to act in a "natural" manner.
The photographs have been exhibited at the Open Eye Gallery, several group shows and published in Creative Camera.
